Ther's a rumor that Tom Hanks will play in next ST movie.
Erik Jendresen scriptwriter of the one of last ST movie is waitng till Paramount approve script. Afterthat Hanks could be one of the main actors.
Erik Jendresen and Tom Hanks met before in Band of Brothers.

Its wonderfull news for me, after nemezis actors and producer sad that there will be no more ST movie and now it can be and with so good actor.
Great news for me in new year .
What do you think, is this really can be a true ?
Will Tom look nice as a klingon or maybe Ferengi ? :biggrin:

What about the story?
Obviously they can't make another TNG movie, especially without Patrick Stewart.
The Enterprise series was a failure for them, that's why they cancelled it.
So what's next?

Yes last Nemezis didnt earn to much money which is strange becouse i find it very good. I read that it will be still with entreprise so i dont know maybe they want to make another TheNextGeneration movie where last crew meets new crew. This time maybe it is Voyager ?
I hope it will be with Voyager not with the newest Enetrpise or DS9.

I read it in some polish portal so giving source here would be usless. Ofcourse it all can be only rumor as i wrote earlier. But we can talk theoretically
When im thinking about this, it will be difficult to make another st movie with ncc1701d and e crew. Who remember how Johnatan Frakes "Riker" look like in last epiose od ST enterpise? They all are old now :/

The other thing is that, really famous actors neves appeard in ST movies. Most of them became famous after their ST movie(s). But it's only my opinion....

mmm because anything to do with Tom Hanks in the sentence just doesn't suit well with me....
I won't be suprised if he gets assassinated soon.

Well for me Tom is very good actor for me, hes awarder and mostly liked by people.
Honestly I dont care who will be playng, Im just happy that thers a small chance for another movie.

Enterprise really damaged the ST franchise. Brannon Braga got slapped hard again when his series Threshold got cancelled. This guy just doesn't get it, he should watch Battlestar Galactica and get a clue.

tom hanks? i love him as an actor, but he does not fit into startrek. he's too mellow, the only time i can remember him defecating from himself was in the terminal. tom really showed that he can be much more then his usual characters, but startrek?! i just don’t see it.

Hmm Im curius what it will be with "the youngest Data brother", do they repair or make another enterpise, Picard after this mision maybe quit commanding Enterpise - if so Maybe Will Riker would like take his place and resigne from his new ship?
