Would you consider another form of government?

Democracy doesn't work because most people have no idea what needs to be done to keep an complex economic system running.
When looking at the voter participation and where this trend is leading towards, in a few decades, more than half of the citizen won't be voting anymore. But why?
They aren't happy with the form of government because this form doesn't work!
The key to ruling these days is controling the mob ( yeah just like in gladiator ;D ). So when you tell the mob what needs to be done to get rid of the astronomic national debt, the mob rejects you because they don't want to hear stuff like 'tax increase' or 'budget cut'.
But you've got to _understand_ the economical machine before you know what could really improve the situation of the mayority of the people living next to you.
So my question here is:
Would you consider another form of government that is based on a mathematic system (even though it's utopia), capable of calculating the best course of action for the government to achieve the best results for the citizens, while reducing the voting system to minimal?

Personally Im a Weber loving Marxist, who at times considers himself a Capitalist, who wishes that his Functionist ways would end so he could see the world for what it really is - a sad sea of suffering and depression where the rich get richer, the poor get poorer and the different classes of poor ridicule those who suffer more. Wars and bloodshed go on as people starve to death and those fortunate enough not to be in a place like that choose to ignore this as it may upset them.
Is this a prefect world? No, far from it.
Will anything change if Democracy was changed into something else? Most likely, no.
Where there is power there is corruption.

Democracy in my opinion is the best way to govern a country and manage the economy correctly! But unfortunately almost all of our governor don't worry about what the people are thinking! And so we have a problem!

I would consider living under a dictatorship, if I were allowed to be the dictator. :biggrin:
