how much years it will be good enought for high quality games?? when ill be have to swipe it to better card??

its on personal preference m8.If u want to run games on high quality then its a matter of time that it wont be running them on full or u probably struggling with some of the newer games.U can literally play any game on any graphic card but it will be of poor quality and it will ruin the gameplay.
My advice is when buyng a graphic go all the way instead of getting a crap one coz ull regret it after a few months

yeah one can say you already need to change it ;P depends on what you expect , if you want to play on 1600x1200 x4x16AA all highest settings you're going to the best card there is . already your card is very outdated and doesn't support shader model 3 i belive which makes it not play even today's games as they should be . and soon there'll be directx 10 with shader model 4 and you'll be out of date two generations

i saw benchmarks and 2 7800GT in sli get 35FPS at SERIOUS SAM 2 with 1600x1200 x4x16AA but the x800 xl 512mb got 45FPS with same preferences

im playing at 1024x768 x4x16AA

another question - i saw 2048x1536 res, for what is this res? i cant see the icon tags :S

But your radeon dosnt support SM3 so you cant refer to this benchmark.
This big resollution is for highend SLI PCs.

2048x1536 i think is for multi monitors and believe me you don't need more than 1600x1200
i must say your graphic card rox if you can play serious sam 2 at 1600x1200 all on and 45fps that's amazing!!!
well i think your card will be ok till vista (maybe you'll play 1 or a hlaf years in 1024x768)

I'm still running a 9800 Pro and I won't upgrade at all until some DX10 cards come out and SLi, and ESPECIALLY Quad SLi become more mainstream and the bugs sorted out Besides, multiple cores is the future it seems

Right now cards with more power are very cheap, look at the galaxy 7600GS AGP. But I understand that waitng for dx10 is waiting for whole new computer.

I'm also still running a 9800 pro and it has worked fine on MOST games I play. I would not even thing about upgrading till dx10 comes out. Next purchase I'm making is from AMd to core 2 duo processor and new motherboard.
