What is the best book you have ever read?

Which book would you advice the others to read??? It could be all kinds of books.

And it would be nice if you can tell me something about the book.

One of my favourites is the Bible:

Sex and crime, and murder up to the genocide. Only and all this, to please God. In addition, many stories: some romantic but many gruesome (though, some to laugh).
Remarkably, some people even call this book "the holy book"!
Christians should not read this book too attentively. They could start brooding.

@Dual Core: those are his reasons why he thinks the bible is the best book he has ever read, although I do not completely understand the first two sentences (gramatically).

The best book(s) I've read so far (I don't read too much) are Dan Brown's books, the entire Harry Potter series and the Lord of the Rings series

I cannot say if it is THE best book I've ever read but it is certainly on of the best: Myamoto Musashi by Eiji Yoshikawa. It is about a famous japanese swordsman in the 16th century.

My favorit book is "frank schätzing - der Schwarm" this is a thriller about animals in the ocean. It's really interessting but a little bit difficult to read.

well, the book is not really a biography. in fact he tells from his personal crises and how he mastered them; what he felt when he 'erupted' and why he thinks he did right...

So he tells about his difficulties. How he feel in such a difficult situation and what he did tp fix it. Is that right how it understood it??
