that's better than the supposed 'unlimited' bandwidth my ISP allows, they sent me two nasty letters already for exceeding 60gigs.

I get nasty emails when I upload too much even though the speed is capped at 256Kbit. (which is around 30KB/s-60KB/s)
The so called 'Unlimited+' over here is 20GB peak, 40GB off peak
*off peak is between 12am-12pm

i use zen.co.uk and there unlimited is unlimited for the 2Mb service others are capped at 40Gb and £1 per Gb over ...........lol

I guess UK's ISPs are pretty much like those in Australia. Australia's unlimited bb is only 20gig. How much can a person download with those small amounts. Just hope that this doesn't become a trend with ISPs around the world.

its a shame how they fool users, if you complain they will say 'we do give you unlimited bandwidth, but when you download a certain amount, we throttle your speed', most ISPs that have a capping system use this sort of line to keep using cheap nasty ways of saving money... its a shame really. *sigh*

If your with Optus your with the new plan. Old plan is sweet 20GB/40GB peak/off peak. I think u can bundle your home phone and get off peak data with the new plan.
