I think it would be cool to incorportate sex in an rpg fantasy game. I realize that the sex would have to advance the plot somehow or benefit or disfavor your character in some way in order to be effective.

If done tastefully, the sex could enhance the role playing of the game, however, i doubt it would/could be done that way and would more likely be a hentai "freak" fest

Well…Everquest players have been beating each other off, online for years now. So I wouldn’t exactly say it’s be a videogame first. Just the first I’d be widely acceptable.

This sounds like a good idea if done properly. The sex would have to be "suggested" instead of done graphically so that users aren't offended by it.

I like the aspect of playing a game that has more depth than just the regular story of a hero trying to beat the odds in -- usually -- saving the world from an ultimate evil (...and let's be honest, a lot of games fail even at that).

Sex is a regular part of any adults life, so why not include it into video games as well? I believe that games get more immerse, the closer the aspects of reality they display are to the real life, we actually live in.

Since it was mentioned before, take a game like GTA:SA about Gangsta/HipHop-stuff and imagine it would totally exclude any sexual reference. It wouldn't even really touch the topic.

I wouldn't even say it needs to be tasteful, it just has to fit the overall storyline of the game. If it's a game about a 25-year-old hero in the real world, I believe it shouldn't leave sex out entirely, since that's simply not how the life of any 25-year-old looks like.

However, I personally wouldn't mind tasteful sex scenes neither tho. ^^
