RIAA to Significantly Expand Anti-Piracy Efforts

The RIAA made several announcements today, including it has sued 765 additional file-traders on behalf of its member companies.

I guess they'll be suing everyone in the US before people stop DLing music off p2p, cause it looks like even though they started suing in 2003, population of p2p just on the networks slyck.com can count has doubled, who knows how much more BT, newsgroups and irc has grown. At least right now their targeting the newbies of kazaa.

BT isnt safer than standard p2p programs. its just that the many users dont use BT for music, hence the riaa doesnt target that. i agree than with the ease or search engines, irc is probably grown a ton for music downloaders(especially since you can dl full albums in super fast time).
