just in case they check the tracker records or something I always use different torrents hash info so it doesnt look odd if you send info to tracker saying you downloaded 30gb of a 4gb file and uploaded 60gb

just wanted to say agian thanks soooooooooo much for this little program made my life a whole lot easier because now i dont have to download a bunch of crap they already have on other sites when i signup for a new bt site just to get power user rank so i can read .nfo files

this sure does sound like a useful little app, but also ill stick with smashers azureus mod for now, altough i would like to see some other BT distros modded, like bitcommet, etc, something new

But does the mod work for you? Does it affect your ratio?

I'm asking cuz it doesn't do anything for me, it only reads my real upload in "details". I can't use ET anymore cuz my ratio is too small, other than having the fake upload in azu, I can't see what it does!

yeah, works great for me!

you have to ensure you tick the fake upload for the torrent details though once you double click the torrent...

the program works great , one thing to keep in mind tho, when it comes to upgradeing user status it doesnt work (example: from user to poweruser)

lets say you currently have 2gb and to become a power user you need 8gb uploaded, you use this to say you uploaded 10gb and it will still say in the site your a normal user instead of power user ... i noticed this bug when i was using this program on elite torrents was ganna upgrade from power user to elite user (250gb upload) but it doesnt work if u go way over the ammount to get auto promoted

The other thing is, that on a lot of sites, they say you must have been registered for so long to get power user etc. So have you been registered for at least 2 weeks (which et needs afaiK)...

well this program is DAMN cheap, but Damn good. even tho i dont really need it as i have over 400 GBs uploaded to almost all the trackers i am on, i cant still see its use. Program works for what its worth, just need to be fleshed out a little more.
Out of the 3 times i use this program to test, one time it simply froze. could be the tracker?

Here's something you can try: Inject say 500KB every second (that's a reasonable amount right?) and even if you have a slow upload connection(adsl) your download speed will increase.

This is bullshit. This program fakes the upload for the tracker, not for the clients. All clients know that you are not uploading anything and give you less download, so your download speed will decrease.

No one in this thread is talking about downspeeds, they are talking about "boosting ratios" at ratio sites, which apparently ratiomaker 0.4 does rather well .. :tongue: .. Thanks for sharing with the board alexd2005 .. very nice indeed.

The tracker shares only the peers with the clients and has no control over the upload or download speed. The clients give higher upload to the clients giving fast upload to them. You can't fake this, since the clients actually count it instead of just taking a number which is sent to them by the client like trackers do.

One post is hardly worth getting our knickers in a bunch .. :tongue: Who cares if it has the possibility to increase downspeed. The app is called "ratiomaker" ...

It is not a big deal .. people like the app, it appears to work well, people are happy .. :biggrin: .. lets leave it at that.

BTW .. Has anyone ran virus/scumware scans ?? .. is ratiomaker clean ??

Well, it works, but i still prefer using the azureus mode, just so i can controll it and be 99% secure from being caught cheating.

i ran a viruscan on it twice once inside the .rar and when i extracted it with Kaspersky Personal AV Pro and it was clean

I've sent this program to a fried of mine, he faked uploading 10 TB to some tracker. A mod sent him a PM asking how he managed to do that and he told him some bulls*t story about working for some company and stuff, so they made him an uploader.

Now I feel guilty. :frown:

peer id/client emulation section is where you select what client you uploaded with, you just pick one from the selections (any of em)
