Once and for all , what is the most normal kazaa client/mod

Once and for all , what is the most normal kazaa client/mod , the one without the adware , who doesn't stop function after a week because the supernodes or whatever changed , if you know such a client/mod that you simply install it and it works without all the catches let me know please

dude, nowadays no one uses kazaa,
but if u need to use kazaa, use kazaa light which is without of spyware (i think, but have no 100% guarantee)

betteru just fuck kaza, and use bittorrent !

i still use kazaa for single mp3 and rare ones
but i use a version for my language so it wont help ya

Even kazaa lite has got spyware in it. IMHO the widest base of files are available on the emule network.. so why bother using risky stuff?

it's not a pro a con discussion here , i have to use fasttrack and kazaa and its ilks are the only clients i can use because other clients that work with fasttrack don't support my language , by the way , fasttrack is still the largest p2p network.

Lol the largest p2p network is BitTorrent. eMule is the second largest. Don't use Kazaa, there are just fakes.

FrostWire (http://www.frostwire.com) is much better.

I really dont recommend useing Kazaa anymore these days because its full of fakes and viruses but if you really insist then I would recommend either Useing a "clean Kazaa" or "Kazaa Lite" because the original Kazaa is bundled with spyware, and ads

Nope...you can't see the members what are using BitTorrent, because many many people are on private Trackers and all these Trackers are not connected with other Trackers so you won't have a chance to count all the users. But when you see in some statistics that there are over than 100.000 members seeding files it would be the biggest network. Also Linux is shared over BT.

the private trackers aint that big anyway. i mean each private tracker maby get max 50k members. only as far as i know filelist.org gor like 100k members and others got between 10k to 20k members.

if i take a guess there is maby 60 to 100 sites around in internet. so the private trackers isnt that relly big imo

Mhm...there are also trackers in germany etc. and if you count tracker like piratebay or the tracker who releases linux you'll get many ppl. I think BT will be under the top 2 of all p2p progs.

if you want to download only single mp3 files
you may use DC++.
And about kazaa,i dont recommend

I used to use kazaa before for single mp3. But even back then I used the lite version. After awhile I moved on to bearshare but that had spywares as well. So now Im using Limewire and Im happy with it I find everything I need. U should download Limewire pro and u will get even better speeds search for it in bittorrent trackers. For larger files I use bittorent for downloading and it works out perfect for me.

Each time I had used limewire (or even the pro version) my registry used to get mucked up with multiple instances of `kazaa' & `grokster'.. anyone else facing the same?

The main topic was `which is the best kazaa mod' so there is no way that bittorrent could have been discussed in this thread (there are quite some p2p threads which does discuss both of them in this forum)

I pretty much think kazaa was dead even before mods started appearing, I mean they are released today (fake credit, fake ratio, etc). Practically, the best kazaa client is the one that hasn't got any ads or spyware (a lite client). However, I must signal that today's kazaa has become a huge refuge for weird porn fans (I mean weird and real nasty stuff) - therefore there's a big chance of organisations tracking servers down.
