List of Fake Trackers

List of Fake Trackers
(Made possible by LolNole on TorrentPortal)

The Evil Empires (MPAA, RIAA, and anti-piracy agencies) have been known to trap people into downloading fake torrents. These fake torrents are hosted on fake trackers configured into collecting IP addresses of all the people who attempt to download the file. Many TorrentPortal members have come across such fake torrents and trackers. Some of the signs are downloads stopping at a specific percent completion and fake files in passworded RAR archives.

This thread will provide an updated list of the known fake trackers. If you find a torrent that is hosted by a tracker in this list, please report the torrent to a moderator for removal (please include the link to the torrent).

[sababot]

thanks for warning us mate

[blackie]

thanks another good list, some sound too familiar

[imported_wizard]

well, nice list of fake trackers, but basically nobody is interested in joining these sites ( even if not knowing they r fake), nowadays new torrenters know which sites r good which one r bad, so really these fake sites just don't have much traffic or any.

[simOn`]

Thx m8, maybe it will be helpful someday

[naomi.tak7]

what is the danger to connect to one of those?

[Pickle]

The solution shouldnt base on this list or any other list. The solution is to use private and well known sites.

so true, rember when TB had a sister fake site called torrentbytes.com,
personally, i think that there is a way to much legal private trackers ( no fake ones) so joining a fake one got to be a really misfortune.

Yeah, almost registered on it when I searched for TB.

Do they just want to make money with this tracker or do they collect IP adresses also?

Greets,
Manas
