It looks like Linux XP is a russian Linux distro, http://www.linux-xp.ru/
The website, as well as the community is in Russian, and I don't understand Cyrillic, so I can't help. It's a Redhat based distro that uses KDE. One might want to try linspire.com (aka. "Lindows"), or the current darling of the Linux distros, Ubuntu.com (Lindows costs money, Ubuntu does not). There is also a Kubuntu, or Ubuntu with KDE if that's preferred. There are probably themes to make them look like XP....There is of course the XPDE, or XP-DesktopEnvironment @ XPDE.com, though I don't know how far it has progressed lately.

Actually, there are custom skins for KDE (not sure about gnome) which can transform your linux appearance to that of winxp, win98 and win95. Although for 300kb, this linux distro is impressively small.

I do believe that is the torrent that is so small. It would be possible to create a distro that was 300k I'd guess, but it would be just LILO/GRUB and a whole lot of downloading. There are floppy linux distros at least, but they're just CLI of course.
There are themes to make things look more like other OSes, but they're not very complete. Most just seem to use the Platinum colours, the Aqua look (blue and grey), Win95 windowbar colours, etc and use similar widgets.

linux xp is baddest destribution!!
i think it is good thing linux desktop make like xp.. but linux are linux and i think this OS should have own desktop.

This looks interesting. Can you run Firefox and Thunderbird on it? I'm guessing you can run any software that Windows can run or are they just wanting it to resemble the look of XP?
