Engadget has a nifty guide for adding 5 volts of USB power to your alarm clock.
Once you've completed your USB-ported alarm clock, you can power all of your favorite low-consumption USB devices, like the always cool LED flashlight (see picture). This is a pretty cool mod, but charging something like an iPod seems a little out of its reach
