Yea right but you forget about the fact that it is sweden.
And that means that ministers say one thing and doing the completely other thing.
And then there are all the lobbying from all media corporations and organitations.
So i wouldnt be the least suprised if there will come more laws so the police have to give higer priority to file sharing than murder.

Since there are propably atleast thousands of members, they will most likely try to "punish" only those who upload the most. Hiding in the masses helps.

Many times, movies - especially prereleased ones - originate from "Top Sites." Top sites are the tip of the piracy iceberg, where material typically trickles down to more common forms of exchange. Yesterday, the FBI arrested Chirayu Patel who ran a top site server.

the origins of all this are the release groups, they have theyr own sites, then they spread the files to they top sytes afiliates, and they do this with caution (encription and other shit). when something hit the top syte then its called pre and the topsites spread all the shit to theyr afiliates and so and so until someone spread it on p2p

FBI should go out and chase real crime rather than internet piracy. It can "Never" be stopped. The internet is just too big of a place. If it is stopped somewhere in the world im sure it will occur somewhere else. If one source is closed new avenues into piracy will arise. The best way to combat piracy is to develop a product that prevents it all together. Maybe a medium with only read privaleges and no copy privaleges or whatever. There would have to be some good cooperation between big companies to develop like this. Im sure Sony can come up with something :smile: . Im sure a really complex algorithm can be made that can't be cracked :smile:

You should know this better than anyone for every coder, there is a cracker who is better. There will most likely never be an uncrackable code. Thats why dvd security keeps failing :top:
