Does anybody actually buy what they download.

I only buy the movies/music CDs if they are reaaaaally worth it. After watching movies once I'm not all that compelled to watch it again because I have a pretty memory and would always 'see' the next scenes before it happens--bummer since some movies are worth watching over and over again. I usually get bored of a CD after 2/3 spins unless the sound is too unique/dynamic.

If I'm blown away by a movie, or if I'm a fan of the series (George A. Romero's Living Dead Movies) I'll buy it, but thats only on very rare occasions. The same can be said about music. If the CD only has a few songs I like on it, I wont bother buying it.

I only buy books as well, since no point in watching something over again that you've already watched and shelling out money for it. But reading large amounts is uncomfortable, so I buy it or if its short, print it out myself...

i buy stuff if it really deserves it... like my favorite games that i play often or anime series i find really good. i used to buy CDs too until they put that stupid DRM shit all over them where i couldn't rip them like i normally would, but basically i've boycotted US movies and CDs.

The only games that i buy are those games worthy of playing online, otherwise i'll download it. The only one that i was dissapointed buying was Tiberian Sun and the game was pretty bad like the unit animations and graphics.

to topic: i buy all these things i like playing. just to get the stuff you can't download. Mostly i wait for a limited edition or such things to buy. but i dont want to wait so long before i can play. So i load and play and if the game was cool enough i buy it and put it to the others of my collection just because it looks nix when there are some day 1000+ games ;p

I Buy what really good. games, musics, movies..etc I just download to simple if the movies or music is bad then why buy it.

I buy what I like. If I can use it at work, I buy it. If I like the movie or book, I buy it. I do download a lot of stuff I dont buy, however I don;t always keep the stuff I download anyway.

I buy movies, but only because I like having the orginal DVD. Music I don't because I listen to it so rarely. Software I don't for the same reason, I hardly ever use anything I buy.
