I think this game is incredible. Runs silky smooth on my X850 Pro. I've played 3 missions, 2 Russian and one British. One of the Russian missions was fairly linear, the other was not. I had 3 objectives to take out, and I could do them in any order. The graphics are top notch. After I completed the first Russian mission, it unlocked the first British mission. So in this game you can play each campaign(Russian, British, American) or play in a timeline of events. The standout mission I've been told is the Point de Hoc mission on D-Day, but I haven't gotten to that yet. The AI is decent, not up to Far Cry, but good enough.
The MP is the real pleaser here. There's no health packs, but regenerating health. But it's not very noticeable. The maps are great, including 4 redone from the first CoD. The shotgun seems a little unbalanced though. Guys on the small maps with shotguns seem to dominate. And you carry a single gun and a pistol, rather than 2 guns. But you can drop the pistol and pick up a second gun.
The negatives are no anti-cheat, no sprinting, no vehicles, and no cookable nades. Gameplay more than makes up for it. This is the best MP I've ever played, I need to get back to playing CoD2...
