The reason that i want to make this tutorial is there are lot of users who start to use torrent filesharing newly. But they dont now anything about security. So i just inform them about their own security.
First of all there are some appz that can be used for security purpose.Safepeer is one of them. What are they?
peerguardian,protowall etc.....
Now i am going to ezplain how you can setup safepeer which is an azureus plugin.
In my opinion nowadays all of the people who download or upload anything on the net must use one of these softwares.
So lets start.

1-)How can you install:

a-)Go to the http://azureus.sourceforge.net/plugin_details.php?plugin=safepeer and download the plug-in then open it with azureus
plugins-installation wizard-By file-Browse and choose your downloaded file
OR
b-)Follow the same way like plugins-installation wizard-by list from sourceforge.net-and choose the safepeer and install it.

2-)First start:

Now you have installed the app and you want to start it immediately, but you have seen that there is nothing happened dont be panic
you just need to reconfigure it.

3-)

Choose plugins-safepeer you will see the main page first like that
Now we can start to edit it.

a-)Disable blocklist manager by remove click
b-)Disable asynchronous mode : what f..k is this?i heard you :)
if you use asynchronous mode you are not protected until SafePeer has finished doing its job.So you should disable it to make things quick.
c-)Write this for main database url
files:///C:/Program Files/Azureus/plugins/safepeer/blocklist.safepeer.cache

Now your safepeer setings should look like.

Where can you find blocklists?

This is a another tutorail subject,i willl explain this later, while you wait for other tutorial i have prepared a blocklist for you.
Why dont you download it ;)

This blocklist is come from e-mule snake mod ipfilter.dat and also i have added some new ips ;) from blocklist.co.uk
it can block 202.497 ips

http://rapidshare.de/files/19794319/blocklist_Pickle_.safepeer.zip.html

If you like it i could always update this blocklist.

Download and copy blocklist file into your (dont rename it)

C:/Program Files/Azureus/plugins/safepeer/

Good luck.

thanx for the tips. but i didnt relly understand why do i need to have this plugin.

the ip list continue banned ip from who? organisations or just normal private ip?

SafePeer is shit. :) It uses the blocklists of PeerGuardian2 what don't need up to an hour to load it's list. So use PG2 and your Azureus won't start so slow.

personally i don't use any similar plugin or exactly the one mantioned in this thread, why?

because it causes that azureus uses a lot more memory than it usualy does(thespite the fact azureus uses a lot of memory )

if u r only using private tracker s then u can feel rather safe, coz staff of thses private trackers do not let in any authotrities

if you know how to manage it,it dont use blocklists of PeerGuardian2,as shown in tutorial,it uses what you want.
b-)Disable asynchronous mode : what f..k is this?i heard you :)

I dont say PG2 is bad, there is not any tutorial about safepeer and people dont know how to manage it.i think i filled a blank with this tutorial.

that is not a big deal. How much memory a plugin could be add ?

I don't find your tutorial negative. It's nice work. I just don't like it but anyway thanks. :)

11ukaNetwok my friend i dont misunderstand you, that is ok.
In this tutorial there is a blocklist link,i have prepared a blocklist
this blocklist is a little different from others, because i have prepare it from an ipfilter.dat plus i have add some special ips that you couldnt find these ips in bluetack or blocklist.co or in any emule ipfilter.dat.And if all you like it,i will update it regularly. So our members will have different and stronger blocklist.

If you'll update it that'll be fantastic. :-)

If you'll update it that'll be fantastic. :-)

Thank you.

I will release same ipfilter but different formats everyweek.
I will explain content of it.
Different formats because Users dont have to use safepeer. :)
Release will contain these formats.

Protowall,peerguardian,emule,µTorrent,safepeer.

These are going to include same updated ips.The only difference about their formats. So i hope you would like it.

i have disabled DHT and there are still 264.855 ip in the ipfilter list.It is working good.
That is not about DHT.
I think cause is wrong config.

Thanks for that topic man. Before i read this I didn't now how i must configure that plugin. Continue your work in such a way...

SyNTaXer, maybe this version that You have is wrong.
I had such SHU one time and he walked bad. Change version and try on different

thank you for your tutorial, but in my case i can't use safepeer plugin, because when i've enabled it, azureus need 200mb of ram without a torrent loaded, if i disable the plugin azureus needs still about 80mb ram without a torrent loaded. now i'm switched to protowall. but thanks anyway

that is ok there is an ipfilter for protowall ;)
http://www.filesharing-p2p.to/showthread.php?t=41846

how do you know this is working where will it show which ips are being blocked?

No your speed is the same like before. You have a little bit more cpu usage, but if you have a normal system then it's no problem...
