AMD To Launch 690G and 690V (RS690 Series).

So Over at Daily Tech They're talking about it now...

There will be 2 Chipsets, with integrated ATI Graphics.

RS690-Based 690G will come with a Radeon X1250 Graphics Processor

RS690C-Based 690V will come with a Radeon X1200 Graphics Processor

The X1200 and 1250 are Identical in terms of 3D Capabilities, just that there are less Pixel-pipelines and Vertex-Shaders, and

These sound like the will make killer cheap systems if the motherboards end up being well priced and feature packed. I've built around Nvidia´s competitor 610/630 and have been very happy with them. Definetly worth taking a look for a cheap system built for the kids and non-gamers family members

They are good options for someone who isnt big on Games. Perfect for General Internet users...

Generally I dont like systems with Builtin video.. but they have their place...
